About Us
AFRO Creative Legacy CIC is a registered Creative and Cultural Community Interest Company dedicated to promoting African arts, culture, and heritage as powerful tools for creativity, wellbeing, and social change.
Our mission is to inspire creativity and wellbeing through African Arts, Culture, and Heritage to address key socio-economic challenges within the communities we serve.
We work primarily in Birmingham and across the Midlands, with plans to extend our reach to other parts of the UK and internationally. Through inclusive cultural programmes and community-led initiatives, we promote cultural pride, social cohesion, skills development, and economic participation.
Our Mission
To inspire creativity and wellbeing through African arts, culture, and heritage by delivering inclusive programmes, education, and community-led initiatives that address key socio-economic challenges particularly mental health, loss of identity, social isolation, skills gaps, and unemployment among underrepresented communities.
